Fifteen years of photographing the moments that move — bands mid-roar, faces mid-thought, buildings at the exact hour they tell the truth.

I photograph the seconds other people feel but don’t see. I started in the photo pit of a half-empty club in 2013 and never really left the dark. Today I split my time between three subjects that have more in common than you’d think — they all perform, and they all drop the act for a fraction of a second.
Occasional writing on shoots, setups and the small decisions that make a frame. No gear reviews, no presets for sale.
Music — No photo pass, no flash, no problem. What a weekend of sticky floors and 128 BPM taught me about anticipating a moment instead of chasing it.
People — Strip the studio back to a single strobe and a wooden stool, and there is nowhere for anyone to hide — including the photographer.
Architecture — Everyone wants the dusk shot with the glowing windows. Here is what actually goes into it — and why the 7 a.m. frame often sells the house.
Tell me what you’re making. I’ll bring the cameras and the patience. Based in Trenton, NJ — available worldwide.
